All successful candidates receive a valid Fork Lift Driver certificate, which is valid for 3 years. There are two main types of forklift trucks, Counterbalance or Reach.
Who Should Attend
Currently Certified Drivers who have had adequate basic training should attend this course. They should have previously been certified but now require their skills to be updated, perhaps due to long intervals of time between operating lift trucks, or if changes in work practices/vehicles have occurred, or there is evidence of deterioration in the operators performance.

- Operate a forklift truck safely, reducing the risk of injury
- List key features of relevant legislation
- Display sharpened operating skills
- Rectify bad habits
- Reinforce safe practice
English is the language in which training is delivered and participants must have a good command of the English language.
